Due to the popularity of this film the distributors have extended the release date until the 8th of December so we will unfortunately be unable to show this movie on Sunday 27th November. We will show this film in the new year on the 29th of January. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause as we know quite a few people were excited to see it. This Sunday at 2pm we will be showing the film Cousins, a 2021 drama about Three Maori cousins who live three very different and tumultuous lives, after one of them is taken from her family and raised in an orphanage. We hope to see you all there.
Our last Sunday movie for 2022 is a powerful one.
Join us at 2pm on Sunday 27th November for the screening of WHINA.
Whina (2022) follows the life of trailblazing Maori leader Dame Whina Cooper, who spent her life breaking boundaries, speaking for the rights of Maori, and fighting for the land.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students. Door sales only.
